Emily Wilson, Founder
Emily Wilson brings unique experience as a pharmacist, consultant, and healthcare leader for a Fortune 1 Company. She has worked in over 100 retail, long term care, and public health pharmacies as a pharmacist, consultant, and pharmacy manager. Emily has managed high volume and start-up pharmacies, leading multiple projects companywide, and has served as a Corporate Advisory Board Member for two companies.
At Walmart, Emily led National Health and Wellness Meetings, and wrote communications for 60K associates in 4,500 stores. Emily developed the new CII SOP for New York, which was utilized companywide. As an owner of several projects, Emily collaborated with hundreds of associates, working cross-functionally across multiple teams to design and implement new systems and initiatives. Emily delivered Leadership and Professional Development Training at Walmart Corporate Office and within the field at district, regional, and divisional meetings.
As a healthcare consultant, Emily developed business proposals leading to meetings with Walmart VPs in Business Development and Third Party Teams. She has trained over 30 Directors in 8 states how to grow sales and form partnerships in their markets and regions. She presented her training insights to Walmart West BU covering 23 states and 1246 stores. Emily provided physicians and investors pharmacy start-up costs, projections, regulatory and legal considerations to begin operation. She advised group on optimal contracts for specific needs concerning software, suppliers, accreditations, buildout, location, and compliance matters. She has consulted with retail pharmacies by designing and implementing plans to improve operational workflow, training, and compliance. Emily researched and investigated the airport pharmacy medical space for investors, analyzing profit margins, break-even analysis, and telemedicine challenges and opportunities. Emily provided consulting for national premier staffing agencies which provided PRN/Relief, Contract-to-Hire, contingency, and talent sourcing direct hire placement for multiple settings including Hospital, Long Term Care, Mail Order, Retail, and Specialty Pharmacy. She advised companies on ways to secure top talent, partnering with talent sourcing, market and regional leaders at career days and healthcare fairs.
